Ledger System Overhaul
Designed a dual-entry, event-based ledger with Modern Treasury, giving the rewards wallet a tamper-proof financial foundation.
The problem
Benjamin’s rewards wallet lacked a centralized, tamper-proof ledger, making it difficult to track user balances, reconcile payouts, and manage financial risk at scale.
What I did
- Partnered with Modern Treasury to design and implement a dual-entry, event-based ledger system.
- Built an event architecture that archives reward activity to S3 for ledger replay and future migration to an in-house system.
- Integrated Snowflake mirroring, enabling scalable reporting without increasing operational data costs.
